I’m sitting at my favorite café, drinking too-strong tea and regretting my choice not to get coffee.
I have several stories to write for my local newspaper, which is fun, and I’ve been running around like the proverbial chicken getting it all done. So this is my post for today. No photos. No deep and meaningful writing. Just a tiny glimpse of real life.
Is a token post better than no post at all (which would have broken my 2.5 year long Tuesday stretch)? Yes. I think so!

Ah, Gretchen, so the daily newspaper has definitely recognized your talent. Good for you. It’s the deadline pressure, I’m sure that’s making you feel like the chicken running around. Hang tough. You’ll get it all done.
Well, it’s nice to be asked to write for them again. I’m enjoying the assignments! I was despairing for about 3 minutes as to how to make insulation interesting, but I think I’ve figured it out!
Nice to know you can do your work while sitting in a cafe. Sounds like you’ve been super-busy xx
Most of my stress is short-term, so that’s at least good!

Definitely a token post is better.. how about a token “read”. I have been so busy I regret not being able to visit and read everyone’s blogs. Someone once told me I spend way to much time writing mine and that they should be simple updates like this one, I think you both have a great idea there! xx
